![]() Cezar (as he is known by many of his American friends) was born and raised in Poland, just a short ride from the Russian border. He has been involved in many aspects of physical training for all of his life (his father taught physical training for a living). Cezar has studied both martial arts and boxing and has a broad knowledge of a variety of conditioning methods and tools. One of his favorites has been kettlebells. Because of their unique ability to provide all around conditioning kettlebells have become his tools of choice for maintaining his incredible strength and endurance. As a career firefighter in Poland and as a career Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the United States, Cezar has continued to impress all of the people he works with by exhibiting his devotion to the job, to fitness, and his extraordinary self motivation. He trains daily to maintain what he believes is the necessary strength, endurance, and flexibility to be the best rescue professional he can be. |
![]() Joe is a career firefighter who also has spent years looking for different ways to challenge himself in the area of physical fitness. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Firefighter Fitness Instructor and has been a career firefighter for approximately nine years. Additionally, Joe spent five years leading the Physical Training program for the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks, CT. Joe was first introduced to kettlebells by a co-worker in 2001. He has not been the same since. Kettlebells became his tool of choice to maintain the strength and endurance needed in his job with out making him large and muscle bound (traits not desirable if you enjoy rock climbing, trail running, and playing tag with your 4 and 9 year old kids).
