"I have lifted barbells and dumbbells since I was a teenager. I have also competed in power lifting. After suffering a couple of back injuries, I began researching different types of lifting and with a focus on proper form. Through this research I came across kettlebells several times but didn't have the occasion to learn them. When Cezar and Joe began teaching at my work place, I jumped at the opportunity. From the beginning, it has been everything I hoped it would be . My core has been strengthened . My cardio is up. My f lexibility is increasing. Did I mention it's a ton of fun? Turkish get - ups, kettlebell f lipping , the gladiator, are just a few of the challenging but really fun exercises. Just like team sports, our class has developed comradery. Safety comes first with both Cezar and Joe . Proper technique is emphasized. They are also certified kettlebell instructors. So as I learn the way of the kettlebell, I know that I am learning methods that are safe and proven over time to work."

"Years of long hours doing office work resulted in my becoming inactive overweight and out of shape. I had always been an avid cyclist and having made up my mind to lose weight and get back into shape I started cycling again for my exercise program. I began by cycling and spinning 30 minutes 3 times a week. Within a few months had worked up to exercising one hour a day 5 days a week. However, I had reached a plateau and realized that I needed some help with my exercise program. I talked to one of my cycling/spinning friends and asked him what he was doing to lose weight and get into shape. He told me he was working out with kettlebells. I attended my first kettlebell class in July 2007 and met Cezar and Joe. I quickly learned that they are extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Whatever your goals may be they are dedicated to your success. Not only do they coach you through one heck of a fat burning workout, this is, I think the most fun and most efficient way of burning fat. I have also gained strength at the same time. I have not only lost 15 pounds since starting these exercises but these exercises have also noticeably improved my cycling times. In a recent 20 mile race I achieved a personal best time even though I had done very little of actual cycling to prepare for this race. My strength and endurance were better than they had ever been. I am now a persistent exerciser who recently turned 50 and I find the kettlebell techniques to be the most effective for me."

"I have trained in martial arts and also have 22 years of military service and kettlebell training provided by Cezar and Joe is unique. The strength training in the service is to crawl under wire, jump over small wall, climb down rope ladders and repelling. So why kettlebell training? Because the unique strength gained helps you in your daily life. Think about the chores that require strength and endurance (moving the furniture, moving the appliances, landscaping, and outdoor sports). "Let me provide some background, 6 years ago I had a car accident and spent 6 months in therapy and could not lift 1-pound weights above my head. I also had some hip damage. I had pain on my hip and neck for about 2 years. I started to workout and do weight lifting but this did not help improve movement and functionality that I needed. The training provided by Cezar and Joe has reduced my hip pain to none ( no more forecasting the weather by the pain on my hip). I have incorporated kettlebell training every week. For those that are number conscious, below are some stats: Age: 50 % of body fat 13.43 Muscular Endurance Pushups 53 classification: excellent Crunches 28 classification: excellent Pullups (straight arm): 25 Flexibility – Sit & Reach classification: good"
